Cloth Modeling

Realistic looking garments and clothes are an important component when it comes to modeling reality and producing photorealistic images including people. In modern movies, many scenes contain completely virtual actors driven by motion capture data, or real actors are visually augmented with virtual clothes in a post-process. The book chapter describes approaches for realistic virtual clothing and models for simulating fabric behavior and appearance.
